The treatment is based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). CBT often involves going to a psychologist, but can also be delivered online, such as in this project.
What you think and do affects your mood a lot. In CBT you and your psychologist explore your thoughts and behavior to see what makes you feel better, and less so. You will learn how to take control and introduce more in life that has the ability to improve your mood.
The treatment will require your time and commitment. Your psychologist will support you, but we expect you to read and complete exercises. The strategies and techniques you will learn are not for a short time period but for life.
